Aarya Patel
Aarya Patel is a software engineer, competitive programmer, and poet who graduated early from Homestead High School in Sunnyvale, California. He was a Software Engineer Intern at Extra (extra.email), a consumer AI email app founded by Pinterest's former CPO, where he shipped email search end-to-end across iOS, web, and backend and built the framework its AI assistant uses to safely take actions on users' inboxes.
He is a USACO Platinum competitive programmer (top <1%), U.S. Physics Olympiad (USAPhO) qualifier (top ~400 nationally), 1st place winner at the FBLA California State Leadership Conference in Computer Problem Solving, and a Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Silver Key poet. He serves as FBLA Finance & Investments State President leading 6,000+ members and co-founded Code4Cause, a nonprofit teaching ML to middle schoolers.
